The data hub is expected to be operational at the end of 2017. Agreements will be established in a business plan in the first six months of 2017 and regulations will be drawn up to ensure a good, correctly functioning data highway.
Hard work has been devoted recently to setting up an administrative framework and continuing to develop the digital highway within carefully considered ground rules. An important consideration is the position of the dairy farmer as the owner of ‘his personal data’ and an architecture that safeguards data flows.
